Asset Tracking
The heart of Radaptive's ITAM+ is the asset tracking facility that enables a single source of truth for all types of asset data. By leveraging the WRAP platform capabilities, every asset attribute can be reconciled based on multiple data sources, or can just be manually entered or imported from a csv or excel file. The platform also provides the ability to track relationships between an asset and any other asset or request - incidents, alarms, change requests, asset move requests, etc.
Incident Management
The Radaptive Incident Management application streamlines the process for diagnosis and restoration of reported issues. Our ITIL-based workflow ensures consistent handling of prioritized incidents. Organizations can start quickly with the out-of-box solution and can continuously evolve the workflow to better suit their unique needs by leveraging the WRAP platform business rules, form generator and workflow designer. Real time outage management controls to efficiently track details during major incidents. Visibility to all related assets, alarms, problem records and change requests. Empowers users to extend the solution with team diagnostic and remediation scripts. Comprehensive reporting for MTTR, First Touch Resolution, SLA attainment, etc.
Asset Discovery
Radaptive's discovery service scans the network and retrieves asset data in an agentless fashion. This discovery process supports large scale installations with minimal impact on network resources. Using MAC address, serial number and hostname, the discovery data is reconciled with the main asset record and unexpected differences can trigger notifications, initiate followup tasks, and show up on daily discrepancy reports. The discovery data includes detailed interface information that forms a complete picture of how your devices are connected. The discovery service can be called from an API in order to automate discovery of specific devices after the hardware or software configuration of the device has been altered.
Barcode Scanning
Barcode scanning is often used to track an asset's physical location. Depending on the barcode device in use, the upload of this data can be fully automated or the data can be exported as a csv file from the device and uploaded via the application web page. This data is then reconciled using asset tag and/or serial number in order to update location based attributes such as office, fllor, datacenter, rack, U-position, etc. Canned reports are provided that can show the physical layout of the datacenter that allow a visual drill down to the room and racked assets.
License Tracking
Software licenses can be tracked with or without Radaptive's discovery service. Purchased licenses are recorded and can be compared with what is actually deployed. Software usage reports provide greater visibility into the types of software installed by your users and can alert you to any potential compliance situations. This added visibility enables your organization to recapture licenses that have been paid for but lost due to employee movement.
Support Contracts
Tracking the support contracts for hardware and software assets ensure the timely renewal vendor support by automated notifications when contract expirations approach. Having the assets associated with a support contract also provides better data during vendor discussions as detailed incident and repair information can be accessed in an instant. When original assets associated with the support contract are swapped out with new assets due to defects, the history is captured to maintain the contract integrity.
